Initially the media were very hostile towards Lisa and blamed her for the death of Victoria Climbie.
However, gradually the media began to see that she had been a social worker working within very unsafe working conditions.

Submission To The Progress Review Of Lord Laming
Following the death of Baby Peter, Lord Laming was asked to conduct a review of the progress of his recommendations made in the Victoria Climbie Inquiry Report, 2003.
His report is entitled The Protection of Children in England. A progress review.
This submission raises many questions still unanswered in this case. Laming's report did not provide the answers.
